Ridiculous KJV Bible Corrections:
Isaiah 33:22

Isaiah 33:22 KJV "For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us."

This verse is rarely messed with by modern versions, but it is striking that it is the RSV and NRSV that botch this verse by changing lawgiver to ruler (the CEV incompetents probably copied off of the RSV).

RSV and NRSV For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our ruler, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

CEV: The LORD is our judge and our ruler; the LORD is our king and will keep us safe.

God is certainly our ruler, but this is not what the Hebrew states in this passage. This is a "correction" that saps much of the essence from the verse, as well as its connection with history. Not only does it remove the important mention of God being the source of our laws, this verse has historic significance. It was the one that inspired the founding fathers of our country to divide power into three branches of government, the judicial, legislative, and executive. What the RSV has done is that they have hidden this inspiration. If this version, which comes from the wicked socialist World Council of Churches, the organization that has supported the murder of Christians worldwide by socialist tyrants, had been around in the 18th century instead of the KJV, we would have been robbed of this inspiration for a balance of power (not that it exists any more anyway). Ruler and king are two words for the same concept. The Hebrew word that they have translated as "ruler" is khaqaq. This word could be said to mean ruler by extension, but lawgiver is clearly its primary meaning, and examples of it being used as a synonym of melek are unknown. Derivatives of the root mean to establish, decree, appoint, law, legal, and so forth. Treating it as a synonym of melek (king) is bad translating, and above all, it is evidence that the WCC and NCC socialist supporters of abortion, mass murder and sexual perversion are anything but inspired.

The preceeding is part of a series of examples of KJV verses that arrogant would-be scholars have tried to correct and showed themselves to be fools. These examples are for the benefit of those who would like more ammunition to defend God's Word against the attacks of the arrogant Bible "correcting" modernists. I hope that some of you find them useful.
