Default The forum start page

This is in regards to the http://av1611.com/forums start page, and is for Diligent. Is there any way that you could remove the "User Name" place holder in the user name field so that my browser can place my user name and password in it automatically. Firefox won't do it with that in the field.

Peace and Love,
Stephen

Hmm, you must be running the windows version, which shouldn't make a difference. I'll look into about:config and see if there is something I can change to make it work. At the moment I have to click the "User Name" which disappears, then I click reload and it enters my UN and PW.

Peace and Love,
Stephen

I haven't noticed a problem with Firefox or IE for this forum.

Aren't Macs suppose to be easier and handle this stuff better?

We had a Mac in the house for about 6 months. It's okay for the average... end user ... but it was far too limiting for any serious work... We Ebay'd it.

That's how I felt about OSX too. I felt like it was trying to hold my hand with everything. Sure if you know Unix (which I do) you can do a lot with a terminal (command line) but the rest of the OS is for those still using crayons

I don't know what you all are talking about. I've been using OS X for over two years now. I've managed half a dozen forums, close to a dozen web sites, and I've done more graphics work and video editing than the average computer user ever dreams of doing. Coming from Windoze, I can say without a doubt that OS X is the most superior OS on the market. I don't negate Linux; it definitely has its uses, and if you don't want to pay for (UNIX-based) OS X or an Apple computer, then more power to you.

I'd say I'm a little ahead of an "average....end user"
