Default Order of Old Testament Books

Does anyone know when and who first placed the OT books in a premillennial order? ie Genesis-Malachi as opposed to the Hebrew OT Genesis-2Chronicles.

I used to know, that's one I'll have to research but, notice in II Chronicles, the very last verse calls on the Jews to return to the Promise land.

II Chron. 36:23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.

Grace and Peace

Tony
