Default Moved from Biblical Marriage thread

Pam, thank you for the personal info you sent.

I wish to share this just so no one gets any wrong opinion or idea of any of my earlier post.

I quote Pam, "I am specifically referring to your post #72 on the Biblical Marriage thread where you said that you were "just guessing that [i] may have went to a public school" and/or that I was taught "sophist" reasoning by my teachers, my family, or TV.

Just so you know, I went to a Christian school (K-12) that was known in our town for employing teaching methods and ideas that went directly contrary to the public school system. My parents got saved when I was about six years old and endeavored to teach me biblically; for years, I have STOOD AGAINST the parts of my extended family that try to say we should teach our daughter to be more INDEPENDENT...they mean an independent career woman who thinks for herself and 'doesn't need a man.'

And we have known about the dangers and deceitfulness of the television for YEARS - we have not had TV service in ages! I don't even remember when we got rid of our TV - my 20-year-old daughter says she never remembers having TV (Praise the Lord - I did not realize it had been THAT long!)" End Quote

Sound like a nice Christian life was attempted by your mom and dad and they had left you with a good example for a Biblical Marriage.

I can attest that Pam's daughter Kayla is a wonderful young woman. She emailed me pictures of all of the fabric choices and I relied on her expert opinion to help me chose a color combination for the apron I ordered. I learned what rickrack trim and embroidery floss are, too! She's so smart, polite and helpful, as are Pam and her husband, Brian. I received the lip balm and it is in a class apart from Chapstick, my former brand. It's very moisturizing and you can feel, taste and smell the essential oils in the different flavors. Now, if the Custer family made lotion I would probably trade in my Vaseline Intensive Care as well. I can't wait to get my apron! (Please, no rush, though.)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Hey, I am working on a lotion recipe now! We have been the guinea pigs for two batches so far...we weren't thrilled with them, but, I assure you, a wonderful lotion is forthcoming!

Thanks again, y'all!

Pam,

Please do let me know when your lotion formula is "perfected"! I'm always suspicious of what chemicals may be in commercial products and I can never seem to make it to Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck) often enough, it's a 30 minute drive. I love ordering things online when I can. We order natural and organic cat food online. Our cats eat better than we do, I think.

Sis Pam,

I'm still enjoying the products that I ordered. I'm looking forward to trying your lotion, when it's ready!! I haven't been using any lotion on my face, just the soap and it does feel soft! But keep me posted on the lotion. I'd like something for my skin after a shower.

Sis Jen,

I tried Chapstick ONCE - the stuff is so dry! And it tastes horrid! I have to admit that I threw it away, unused after a couple of applications! I love the taste of the lip balms from Pam's farm - with the natural oils. It's just the right amount! Even Burt's Bees - which is also supposedly "natural" is not as moist as the lip balm from Pam's farm!

Let me know how you like the apron. It sure does look pretty!!

Jassy
