It is common for the street people to de-fang or make other "modifications" to cobras over there...

Looking carefully you can see that snake's mouth is not actually opening because apparently its mouth was sewn shut. (the tongue can still come out because there is a small opening for the tongue)

Still, it's pretty stupid of those parents because what happens when the kid goes out and picks up a normal wild cobra????

Yeah, I just hope that child doesn't grow up thinking every snake it comes in contact with is going to be like that one.
