Rick Warren Prays in Name of "Isa," Muslim False "Jesus"
Inauguration: Rick Warren Prays in Name of "Isa," Muslim False "Jesus"
I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life, Yeshua, Isa, Jesus, Jesus (hay-SOOS), who taught us to pray, Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. --Rick Warren, from inauguration prayerCommentary by Daniel Cordell Love for the Truth Out-of-House Writer [I]n his Presidential Inauguration prayer, Rick Warren prayed in the name of "Yeshua," "Isa" and "Jesus." It seems, the three names Warren used were to imply the three "Abrahamic Faiths" (as they are so-called), Judaism, Christianity and Islam. What's significant is the name "Isa" being prayed by the "evangelical" Warren. Isa is strictly Koranic and used by Arab Muslims. Even Arab Christians don't refer to Isa, but to Yesua. I've lived and studied Arabic in one of the same Muslim countries that Warren has visited, and I think he probably knows that the Arab Christian communities only refer to Jesus as "Yesua" and not "Isa" as the Muslims. Isa was not Jewish, but Palistinian. Isa did not die on the cross but instead had someone die in his place. Isa is a Muslim prophet. Isa is only found in the Koran. The name Isa doesn't have any Biblical support or any meaning found in Biblical scholarship. Yet, Rick prayed in the name of Isa. -From Lighthouse Trails research site .................................................. ............................ Text of Rev. Rick Warren's inaugural invocation By The Associated Press – 1 day ago Text of the invocation by Rev. Rick Warren for President Barack Obama's inauguration, as transcribed by CQ Transcriptions: ___ Let us pray. Almighty God, our father, everything we see and everything we can't see exists because of you alone. It all comes from you, it all belongs to you. It all exists for your glory. History is your story. The Scripture tells us Hear, oh Israel, the Lord is our God; the Lord is one. And you are the compassionate and merciful one. And you are loving to everyone you have made. Now today we rejoice not only in America's peaceful transfer of power for the 44th time. We celebrate a hinge-point of history with the inauguration of our first African-American president of the United States. We are so grateful to live in this land, a land of unequaled possibility, where the son of an African immigrant can rise to the highest level of our leadership. And we know today that Dr. King and a great cloud of witnesses are shouting in Heaven. Give to our new president, Barack Obama, the wisdom to lead us with humility, the courage to lead us with integrity, the compassion to lead us with generosity. Bless and protect him, his family, Vice President Biden, the Cabinet, and every one of our freely elected leaders. Help us, oh God, to remember that we are Americans, united not by race or religion or blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all. When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you, forgive us. When we presume that our greatness and our prosperity is ours alone, forgive us. When we fail to treat our fellow human beings and all the Earth with the respect that they deserve, forgive us. And as we face these difficult days ahead, may we have a new birth of clarity in our aims, responsibility in our actions, humility in our approaches, and civility in our attitudes, even when we differ. Help us to share, to serve and to seek the common good of all. May all people of good will today join together to work for a more just, a more healthy and a more prosperous nation and a peaceful planet. And may we never forget that one day all nations and all people will stand accountable before you. We now commit our new president and his wife, Michelle, and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, into your loving care. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. |

It's a sad situation for sure. I can at least appreciate the fact that Warren didn't ask God to bless Obama's agenda and goals. I thought this part of the inauguration prayer was interesting...
"When we fail to treat our fellow human beings and all the Earth with the respect that they deserve, forgive us." It sounds like Rick Warren realizes the man he is praying for has vowed to open the floodgates to abortion in America with the Freedom of Choice Act, which will nullify every legal limit on abortion and increase the abortions of "our fellow human beings" by 125,000 more per year. (details below) Definitely a sad situation. http://www.lifenews.com/nat4359.html Last edited by Bro. Parrish; 01-23-2009 at 12:40 AM. |

I got Warren's Driven-Purpose book two years ago for X-mas and hardly read it at all. I took another look a month ago just for fun. Boy, was it laughable this second time around! I wasn't able to understand half of the poor choice of verses he backs it up with. It appears to me that he relies on Concordance instead of relying on the Word!!
It seems possible these days that future 'worldly' ministers could rely on the Concordance so they could find the word inside a verse, and twist it to support their own ideology. What ever happened when a Concordance's purpose was to find a word inside the bible because you forgot where, or rather, to STUDY it? See how CHEATING that can be!!! |

Actually Isa, according to Dr. Ruckman, stands for Esau. So the Jesus that is in the Koran is actually a type of the antichrist.

One Southern Baptist "missionary" told me that "Isa" was the name "Jesus" in the Muslim tongue.
Do you agree or disagree with this. Can anyone give us more info on this? Here Am I, I was surprised Warren wore a tie at last! |

Quote:
Thou hast left thy first love. Rev. 2 v1-5 1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. I have seen people buy into his ideology, stand up in the congregation, thanking God that christians, jews, muslims etc are all praying to the same god. Can i blame Rick? When people are too lazy to read a Bible(including myself of course) and do not want to put effort into seeking the truth, its easy to let someone else do it for you. If you feel good about what Rick say's or any other megachurch preacher then you must be going to heaven. Not so! So vague are these telepreachers on REAL Salvation. Come on,we don't want to offend anyone. I would rather people be offended, wake up,and get saved. The feel good mentality is not going to get you to heaven people. I see how individuals come soo close to accepting the Lord, but never quite get there. It is sad Salvation, leading people to the Lord, should be our Purpose for a driven life. I was suprised to see that the 44th president did not use a Bible to swear upon, just another way of taking God out of our society. |

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I had heard that he was going to use Lincoln's Bible to swear in on.
