Second Amendment Rights
Recent news is that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the second amendment to the constitution restricts the ability of governments; state, local, and federal, to interfere with an individual's right to keep and bear arms. Considering the past history of this court, the ruling seems to me to be a miracle on the order of parting the Red Sea in Moses's time.
I hope that this, combined with the recent court invalidation of Washington DC's gun ban, will result in more correct observation of the constitution, and discourage any attempts by the Federal Government to restrict our rights. Hope you are right, I think the trends indicate they may be going after the ammo not the guns...
Feds undercut ammo supply Defense policy reversed after intervention by 2 Montana senators The Department of Defense announced last night it has scrapped a new policy that would deplete the supply of ammunition by requiring destruction of fired military cartridge brass.... http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.p...w&pageId=92095 |
