Although I have to say it shouldn't surprise me since I have watched "getting knocked up" in the past 20+ years go

From: Being ashamed/shunned/adoption/shot gun wedding...

To: We're a little embarrassed and maybe we'll get married after the important things like school are done...

To: Who cares? There is no shame in it and Uncle Sam will give me more money for each kid I have.

I am glad they choose life and not abortion, but I'd rather see adoption. I know many (married) women waiting in line for babies to adopt. Not a lot of these babies end up in a loving two parent household. It is sad when you see another generation go on to repeat the cycle...at an even younger age...

I know also women who have taken on these babies/children after they have ended up in foster care and the stories and the the work of healing the scars left by their early years.

Sad, sad ,world we live in...
