Pray for Mindanao

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

Please pray for Mindanao. I and a group of Bible students will be going there for a "mission trip". We'll be holding a Bible conference in a church, a music seminar in a Bible school, and campus evangelistic meetings in some public schools.

While it has been under red alert, people there are hungry of the Word of God. Some parts of Mindanao are "closed", but the rest are very "open" to the gospel. Public schools have asked a Bible school down there to hold preaching services for their students, and we're going there to help. Thank God for the great and open door. Please pray for our safety!

Also everyone,

Please keep us in prayers as well. the Abu Sayaf (the group that kidnapped the Burnham's) have fortified themselves up here in Palawan. they are currently fighting with the Philippine Marines.

In that area we have our tribal work through Pastor Nick many people are chased away from their homes by tthe clashes.

Also, the Isl amic school here in Puerto was shut down for awhile after 6 detenators were found in the possession of the Indonisian Emum here. he was sent back to Indonisia for having no entry papers and the Students all from Mindanao were sent back there.

I'm still down here in some part of Mindanao. The field is truly RIPE to harvest here. Preachers needed, HEARERS are waiting -- elementary schools, high schools, and COLLEGES very open to the gospel. I'll still be here for about two weeks. Thanks for your prayers!

v.37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
v.38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

John 4:35....behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
