Bro George, would you mind telling me who in South Africa you are talking about. I am from Montana, but am studying in SA. I have a fews weeks of nothing to do and I am looking to maybe drive around and fellowship with some people who actually believe the Bible. This would be very much appreciated.

A lot of old books about the King James Bible, including Scrivener, Burgon, Redpath, Muir, McClure, Brown, Pollard, Dore, etc. can be found, freely downloadable as PDF files from http://www.archive.org and some also at http://books.google.com/bkshp?hl=en&tab=wp and some plain text ones at http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

John Burgon seems impressive, to say the least. I'll start ordering his books for some good summer reading, and thankfully they all seem to be readily available here.
Aloha brother,

Send me your mailing address by e-mail (privately) and I'll ship it off to you pronto. And may God bless your studies and lead you into all truth.

I have to say to Brandon and George after everything that has gone on for the last week, you guys are doing a great job defending the truth of the God's Holy Word!! You have one that is sincerely seeking the truth and one that I can't see that they are seeking truth. and you are treating them accordingly.

Way to balance truth and love brothers. keep up the good work!

YSIC, Beth

George, I've actually been trying to get hold of Maynard's book, and hopefully will have it ordered in the coming days.
As for the links, they do well to identify the inconsistencies in the Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus etc, but it would be nice with some better sourced information on the similarities between the TR and the Old Latin, Armenian etc.
Diligent, thanks for the tips, I'm particularly interested in Cloud's book and will be sure to try to get hold of a copy in the near future. However, I am extremely suspicious of Ruckman and his doctrines.
And just as freesundayschoollessons says, textual reliability is extremely important when witnessing to Muslims. One of my Muslim friends, for instance, rejects the Bible with contradictions being his sole argument.
Hi Jacomus, I understand that getting good sound litrature your way can be difficult, here are some links that will add to what has already been said to you here. I do not agree with everything TBS says but these articles are good and you can read them online.. they are at the bottom on the left hand side.. There is a good article on the Johannine Comma
http://www.trinitarianbiblesociety.org/

Heres a link to the Dean Burgeon Society they got some good articles as well...

Also here is a link that you can read all of Dr.Ruckmans Bible Believers Bulletin there is a wealth of material that you can use.

I have read most of Doc Ruckmans material and worked with a couple of his Grads. from PBI as well as corresponded with him several times. Thats over a 17 year period, all i will say is check his stuff for yourself...
Every Blessing Bro......

Thanks Chaplainles! I'm a bit stressed for time these next few days, but I'll give the sites you recommended a go. The Trinitarian Bible Society particularly seems to catch my interest.

Peace and blessings in Christ brother!
