I gave up hunting years ago.
I was a good shot too, I could bag a mess of dove, or squirrels as fast as you could blink your eye, ducks too.

Eventually I just got tired of sniping at wildlife.
I don't think I could shoot an elephant unless I had to.
They're just too cool.

On the other hand, if I was hungry and needed to feed my family I guess the elephant would start looking like a big hamburger pretty quick...

Ever hear the joke about the Christian who went bear hunting?

He shoots at the bear but misses, making the bear angry. The bear charges at him and he runs for his life, but trips and injures his leg. As the bear is about to pounce on him he prays, "Dear Lord, please make this bear a Christian like me!"

Suddenly, the bear stops, kneels down and prays, "Dear Lord, thank you for this meal I am about to partake of."
