It also speaks of the Dead shall rise incorruptible, this corruption must put on incorruption, this mortal must put on the immortality.

it speaks both of the event of catching away and the transformation that takes place. you cannot pick and choose which part of the verse is at the twinkling of an eye when all the event is one the rising of the dead and the catching away of the living, one to put on incoruption and one to immortality.

I believe that the comma at the end of verse 51 and the colon in the middle of verse 52 point out that the twinkling is connected with the change, both of the dead and of the living. Also note that the term "catching away" or "caught up" is not in this passage. "the dead shall be raised" does not describe a rapture exactly, but a resurrection. This is not to say that the two aren't linked, only that the idea is not shown here.

Some people believe that at the Rapture, this will be what would happen:
1. A quick change (1Co 15)
2..A slow catching up (1Th 4)
I don't agree with this, but is there any of the same opinion?

It is implied when you join it with the rest of the Bible verses that talk of this event. I thess 4:15 is speaking of what Pual discribes in detail in 1Cor 15. it wont be any slow motion gathering it willbe at the trump and in the twinkling of the eye. but everyone left behind will know somehting took place.

Personally, I HOPE that the LORD returns and calls me Home BEFORE tribulation.
I feel that the True Church must first be taken out of the way so that Satan cannot be contested and have free reign on the earth during this time of great tribulation. With the Body of Christ still on earth, the working of iniquity would be exposed by the Church. Either way PRE or POST, whatever happens, Christ will strengthen me to withstand anything. I believe that the Church will return with Christ at Megedo, and the saved that came out of tribulation (12 Tribes Of Israel) will enter Bodily into the millennial Kingdom. These are my opinions and Christ Jesus I have HOPE.

Probably a useless piece of information regarding the post itself, but the Twinkling of an eye, that glimmer of light we can see, when measured in electrical terms is one, one thousandth of a second.

The One Is Jesus Christ, the 1000 is His Promise and the second is his coming.

This is how it appeared to me, not claiming this as doctrine of course just personal interpretation.

In the name of my Saviour, the LORD Jesus Christ.
