1Corinthians 11:28-32 gives us the instruction ti examine which would mean if we found somthing wrong it would need to be made right. what if a man discovered he was partaking of the bread and the wine. how does he get right? confession and repentance both two thingsChristians are to do. Maybe you can get a copy of Grace by Lewis S Chafer and give it to him to read 2/3rds of the book is applicable to beleivers the first 1/3rd is for the lost and our knowledge.
