Jesus has given us the gift of righteousness by imputation. once I have confessed my sin there is nothing to hinder my prayer except Gods will. James is more dispensational for those in tribulation. but spiritually our rightious standing before God we are all righteous in Christ Jesus. So how do I know when I am righteous? When I am yielded, confessed, reckoned and judged my self then my state is as righteous as my standing before God in Christ. so is James speaking of our standing or state?

Replay to brother Anderson's post #10.
Tell him what you really think, try not to hold back. Thanks for the wisdom, Amen. Last edited by Gord; 05-15-2008 at 05:37 PM. Reason: spelling |

The original question, asked by Gord, was a good one. It was answered by more than one person in a correct manner (ie, we have Christ's righteousness).
The thread has drifted far too far off, and I don't see any edification coming out of letting it continue. The thread is closed. |
