The "KJV Commentary Bible"
Hi, all.
I'm not a huge fan of commentaries*, but I'm curious about this particular edition of the KJV. This isn't the "KJV Study Bible" with the Liberty University notes . . . this is an edition copyrighted in 2006 by World Publishing (address in Nashville--as far as I can tell from a Google search Word is defunct now). This is a nicely printed edition, very clear type and page layout, with relatively good notes at the bottoms of the pages. However, there's not a word anywhere in it about who wrote the notes, who's behind the whole project, etc. That seems kind of mysterious to me. The only thing the cover says is that it's "Conservative Evangelical Scholarship". Anyone know anything about this one? *Back to commentaries: in my experience, they explain the obvious points and completely ignore the really difficult ones . . . I can do that well on my own! Lee |

Just FYI: Thomas Nelson bought World Publishers three or four years ago.
