WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU COULD “LOSE ” YOUR SALVATION?

1.GOD’S GRACE WOULD NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO KEEP YOU! {Acts 15:11, 20:32; Romans 5:21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 2:11}

2.THE FAITH OF CHRIST WOULD FAIL TO SECURE YOU! {Galatians 2:16; Philippians 3:9}

3.YOU WOULD LOSE CHRIST’S RIGHTEOUSNESS! {Romans 3:22, 5:17, 5:21, 10:4, 1Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9; 2Peter 1:1}

4.THEN - ALL YOUR SINS WEREN’T REALLY FORGIVEN! {Acts 13:38;, 26:18; Ephesians 1:7, 4:32; Colossians 1:14, 2:13; 1 John 2:12}

5.YOU COULD LOSE YOUR JUSTIFICATION! {Acts 13:39; Romans 3:24, 4:25, 5:16-18; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Galatians 3:24; Titus 3:7}

14. THE FATHER WOULD FAIL TO PERFORM A GOOD WORK IN YOU! { Philippians 1:6}

18.GOD WOULD NULLIFY YOUR ADOPTION AS SONS OF GOD! {Galatians 4:5}

19.GOD WOULD NULLIFY YOUR ADOPTION AS CHILDREN OF GOD! {Ephesians 1:5}

20.YOU WOULD CEASE TO BE A SAINT – OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD! {Ephesians 2:19}

21.YOU COULD REVERSE THE CIRCUMSION MADE WITHOUT HANDS! [How does one become “uncircumcised”?] {Romans 2:28-29;Colossians 2:11; Philippians 3:3}

22. GOD WOULD CHANGE THE MEANING OF “EVERLASTING” LIFE! {John 3:16;, 3:36, 5:24, 6:40, 6:47; 1Timothy 1:16}

27. YOU COULD SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST! {Romans 8:35-39}

28. YOU COULD REMOVE YOURSELF FROM BEING SEATED IN HEAVEN! {Ephesians 2:6}

29.GOD WILL FAIL TO PRESERVE YOU UNTO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM! {2Timothy 4:18}

30.GOD’S WRATH COULD ABIDE ON YOU - CONTRARY TO GOD’S PROMISE! {John 3:36; Ephesians 5:6 – Colossians 3:6 – 1Thesallonians 5:9;}

Now, can you see why I get so upset with those people who believe that they can lose salvation? They are IMPUGNING God’s Character; His Words; His Promises; His Integrity; His Abilities; etc.! They REFUSE TO BELIEVE the written record, and PREFER TO BELIEVE a LIE!

IF you could lose your salvation – all of these things would have to take place (and there are a lot more!). When we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him as our Saviour, we aren’t just: “saved from Hell” (The Lord is not just a “Fire Escape” from “Hell”; or a “Life Preserver” to avoid the Lake of Fire. He hasn’t just given us a “Get Out Of “Hades” Free Card. When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ there’s a whole lot more that takes place in a believer - far more than most Christians are aware of! After King David had committed the heinous sins of adultery and murder, he wasn’t worried about “LOSING” his salvation – he didn’t ask God to “RESTORE” his salvation he asked God to: “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” [Psalms 51:12]

Please tell me: IF you can lose your Salvation, HOW do you get all of these things back? HOW do you get REPARDONED; REJUSTIFIED; REBORN; RESEALED; READOPTED; RECIRCUMSIZED; RESEATED; ETC.; ETC; HOW do you become a sheep; a son; a saint; etc.; etc.; all over AGAIN?

IF you can lose your Salvation, just exactly what kind of sin (or number of sins) does it take to lose it? You sure can get in a heap of trouble when you refuse to BELIEVE the word of God!
