But why did Bro. Jack write "I Love you" on the top of a pizza box. After being accused of abusing the boys, he should have had more sense. "Jesus Loves You" would be fine, but to write "I love you" and give it to a bunch of female minors in front of police officers after being accused of abuse is just silly IMO.

More importantly, why did the police reprimand him for it? While the wisdom of such a move is somewhat questionable and people could get the wrong idea from it, what law forbids him to express his love toward the kids that he has taken care of for years?

No law, and if he hadn't just been accused of abuse, I doubt anyone would have thought anything of it.

It was the timing. But I am not attacking him. I just found that a strange thing to do.
