Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

I'd rather have a two edged sword than a butter knife(NIV, NASV, NKJV, etc).

I first met Al Lacy in 1976 on Guam. I will never forget the experience. What a blessing. He spoke for us for a week and it was absolutely great.

Bartimaeus, This audio is from the early '90s and I have other audio sermons from the early 2000s, but have not heard much from him since. He must be devoting his time to his fiction books in his later years. He preached at my childhood church first in 1978 and as a result I received Christ as Saviour. I still have many of his tapes from the '70s and get them out quite often to hear some real preaching.
