Default Possible contradiction in the Bible.

Acts 9:7: „And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.“
Acts 22:9: „And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.“
So did they hear a voice or not?

Did they hear a voice or not?
Yes. Acts 9:7 says that they heard "a voice"
And No. Acts 22:9 says that they heard not "the voice of him"
They heard a sound of a voice, but it could not be understood by them as the voice of God.

Joh 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

Everyone heard the voice, not everyone understood it, and no one recognised it was God (they all thought it was an angel).

WWJD,

Are you just a new troll just like Eric? The only post you have made are trying to prove the KJV wrong. If you are anti KJV why are you here? Look at the name of the forum, it may be good hint for you.

Read the eternal security thread Atlas..

He seems to believe you can lose your salvation, but you can only get it back if you were never saved in the first place.

Luke,

I know sadly I have read the post. We are getting some real winners on this forum as of late, that's for sure. You can only get it back if you never had it to start with. This is a new one that's for sure. Most of the folks that think you can lose it, do think you can at least get it back. He seems to put a real twist on the getting it back issue.

Maybe it's like an old 7up ( a soft drink in the USA) commercial saying, " never had it never will. "

Sounds kinda like this -

"Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him."
John 12:28, 29
