Ever read Revelation 22:14
Re 22:14, 15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Interesting to see that after the New earth is established and the GWT judgement is over here is this little monkey wrench of a verse just staring us saying, if they keep my commandments they may have the right to the tree of life (which is in the City New Jerusalem), and they may enter through the gates (which means their names are written in the Lamb's book of Life 21:27 so they could enter in). and the rest lines up with Rev 21. Are there unsaved unregenerated people in the new earth outside the New Jerusalem that if they keep his commandments? obvious it would be new set of commandments for the old ones were done away with (2Cor3:6-11). unregenerated sinner in eternity future. this is an amazing scripture and how will grace, faith and works be? I guess as it was under Old Testament Law, they hear the commandments, then keep it in faith to the Lords word and do the works the commandments require with a true heart, then they shall receive the grace of God. Wow I am sure glad for Faith alone. Aren't you? |

Ponder this one for awhile, I think you will find this has nothing to do with any keeping of the Law, now or hereafter.
It is simply a statement of those, who have the right to the "Tree of Life". |

no man has the right to the tree of life and in the case above one would have to earn that right. we got it by Jesus Christ.
but to say it is just a statement about those who have a right that doesn't make sense nor is that what it says. the only reason one needs the tree of life is to get eternal life. Now it could be he is speaking again to those in the beginning of the Great Tribulation and if they keep his commandments they will have this right but they wont enter in the city until the end of the Millennial Kingdom to eat of it. but to take it literally and chronologically it would mean that people are still being born in a natural state in eternity future that must keep commandments to get eternal life. |

Right Division of the word shows us that some people were required to keep the law or do certain things to receive God's grace. You can disagree, but it is plain and simple from Scripture that things are different at different times throughout the Bible. Now, as far as the OP goes. During Eternity after the Millennium, there will still be three groups: the Jews, the Gentiles (a remnant from the Tribulation and the Last Battle) and the Church which is the bride of Christ in the New Jerusalem. The Earth will be divided into twelve nations (forgive me for not having a whole lot of references here) ruled by Jews, and those righteous individuals who obey God and keep His commandments will have the right to enter into the New Jerusalem as visitors and partake of the Tree of Life (a "species" of tree, not just one tree) to gain eternal life. Remember, the only group of people in the Bible that is promised the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, Eternal Security, and the Circumcision made without hands is the Church. No one else in history, from Adam to the Tribulation, have these promises made exclusively to the Church. In fact, we're the only group that is made an actual part of the body of Christ: no one ever had a clue about that, since Paul called it a mystery multiple times! |

Taken in context. not out of; Revelation 12-16. Is speaking of those who keep the Lords commandments:
1: Mark:12:30: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 2: Mark:12:31: And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. These are the Lords commandments, not obedience to Law. These will stand from now until eternity, and by none other! may a man be saved. These are only possible by faith in, and obedience to Jesus Christ. Those, and only those who do so; will have the right to the “Tree of Life”. Whether during the Millennium, or in the present. |

2) There are four distinct Gospels preached at different times in Scripture (three true, one false), and the Gospel that Paul preached was received by him directly from Jesus Christ and no one else. 3) Revelation 14:6-7 describes a Gospel that had never before been preached: this Gospel demands obedience in WORKS with absolutely no faith element; to say this is the same Gospel preached by Paul in 1 Cor. 15 and Ephesians 2:8-9 is absurd. 4) Your references in Mark never remove the other commandments: they are simply pointing out how the Law is summed up; however, Jesus never denies or relieves them from obeying ALL of the Law, including the ceremonial and dietary parts thereof. |
