Default KJV - typo or the way written?

I picked up a cheap KJV and notice that Genesis 1:10 seemed to have a mis-print, "called he Seas". I wondered if it was a mistake of the editor or the way all KJV's were written. I notice the KJV on this site has "he" instead of the and another site as well. I know this is picky, but it peaked my curiosity. Any comments welcome.

Gen 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

That's what it says.

Gen 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called the Seas: and God saw that it was good.

That wouldn't make any sense...

Gen 41:52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

Jer 42:8 Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,

Act 10:23 Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

I guess it's just a nuance in the perfect English that we aren't used to. Some might call it quaint

Is there kind of Oort Cloud out there that continually replenishes the supply of people asking questions about errors in the Bible or something...

My KJV has Ge 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

No, it in no typo, as Luke says if you put in the it makes no sense grammatically.

In Biblical English, when a verb is placed before its subject, it is to emphasize the verb.

It is only sold to a very exclusive clientele. You do not qualify.

Tim, I Googled it and can find nothing. If it's a valid work of Biblical edification, then it should be readily available. If it's an underground thing I have to assume it's mere private interpretation. You can find Dr. Ruckman on AMAZON, this book should be there too.

I once had a Jimmy Swaggart NT with Psalms. Unusual in that the cover was real leather and not bonded. It had an interesting little reading in II Peter 2:5:

IIPe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungoldy;

I guess "copyists errors" are not confined to the 10th century AD.

Grace and peace
