Default An Interesting Cross Reference

Le 21:10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;

Mt 26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

Mr 14:63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

Someone once did a study on the Law of Moses the Jews broke, along with the Scripture references to them, on the trial and execution of Christ, and it was published in a little book. I wonder if anyone remembers this book or is aware of it. I have a Jewish convert to Christianity. I don't know the date of publication or author, it was a little book and very good and followed the KJV best as I can remember.

Grace and peace

Interesting thread Brother Tony. Was that booklet you are searching for called "The Arrest and Trial of Jesus" by Robert Rushmore? I have a copy of it in e-book format, if that's the one you're seeking.

Wikipedia also has posted something about how many Jewish Laws were broken during the trial of Jesus. I haven't read it yet, so don't know if the contents are accurate or not, but here is the link:

Jassy, that could be it, thanks. This was a little thin book and I think might have been subtitled something like 18 Laws Broken In The Trial Of Jesus.

Grace and peace sister and thanks again

The one I have in e-book format doesn't have any subtitle and was written in 2002. So, it may be a different one. Perhaps it has some of the same facts though.

I don't think I can post attachments here for the e-book. And, if I can, I don't know how to do so.
