At first I thought this photo fake, or maybe one of those paintings you see that are an optical illusion. And even the lady could be in on it.
But that cat really looks like it is looking at that dog. That would be difficult to fake. |

I've been into photography for over 50 years. You would be surprised, at the things you can fake if you have the image stock. Especially!in the digital age of photography.
I have seen more unbelievable things than this; pieced together. |

funny to imagine but many flaws look you can't see the hinge side of the door that is normally visible if the door is opened like that. see the white line in the knotty pine paneling you can follow the line on the right all the way through the mop board, take a closer look at the chair molding as well especially around the door. I have never seen a chair molding on the door jam like that, also look at the threshold it would normally be between the jam but it is outside the door jam. then look at the perspective line of the tile flooring. the one all the way to the right as you look at it does not match. also the back paws of the dog are not in the right position in order for him to hold that position also there is no shadow of the dogs tail on the wall at the same direction of the shadow of the chair leg. Definitely some manipulative work done to achieve this picture
My opinion is it is a photo like a poster that was made and then hung on the wall giving the 2 dimensional look of a dog suspended in a door way. Last edited by chette777; 04-23-2009 at 06:15 AM. |
