Those Holy men of God actually wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, not in the way they
understood it. We certainly see their unique styles, but God inspired the Words.
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1:20-21).
The real issue is this. Am I reading the exact preserved written Word of God?
Personally, I want to know that I am. He WILL show you. Get alone, ask, and seek. You can trust Him.
