Biblestudent,
I believe those verses. I realize Paul was speaking to "Pastor" Timothy, but, it still stands. It goes along with:
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
But it needs to be balanced with:
Galatians 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Yes, we are always learning. No one has is completely right. People have been "ironing out" disagreements for a VERY long time. Not even my wife and I agree on all things. Yet, those areas are not points of contention.
One of the reasons we fellowship together is to help each other learn. So, the verses you gave are good, but need a qualifier, in my opinion.
