Brother TA, I would share the Gospel of Christ and not even discuss "praying to statues" or to someone other than the Lord Jesus Christ. Fundy shared some appropriate scripture, but the lost don't get it. Preach Jesus and Him crucified. I have never been able to "reason" with someone who lacks spiritual understanding.
2 Corinthians 4:3-6 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
